Wearing make-up at our historic period is pointless and stupid - but that'south no reason to ban information technology. Teachers just want to suck all the fun out of life!

I think make-up should be banned. Schoolhouse is for learning, not for showing off. And if girls wear lots of make up, they're going to be picked on anyway. Also, if a girl doesn't wear make-up, she might too be teased for that. It makes it off-white if no i wears it at all!
Lizzi, 13, Durham

In my school make-up isn't allowed but I think it should be because make-upwards makes the nigh ugliest people experience happy about themselves (although I don't grade anyone as ugly that'southward just hateful!). So they shouldn't ban make-upwards in because of BULLYING.

Kelly, xiv, Lowestoft
Loads of the girls at my school habiliment make-upwards and the teachers all proceed trying to terminate them. Only I think that all they're actually doing is making more work for themselves - it should be optional.

Our school has banned brand-up also and I call up it's silly because nosotros're already forced to wear a uniform and certain shoes so our face and pilus is the only way we can show how we are through fashion. And more people are likely to be teased because they will accept spots and won't exist able to encompass the spots up as concealer is classed equally brand-up.
Holly, 12, Swindon
It doesn't affect your learning so I don't see the problem with make-upward but you know what teachers are similar always making up excuses to become their own way and stop us existence happy!

Kimberley, 13, Dover

Leah, 11, Birmingham
No style! Make-up is fine as long as strict rules fabricated clear so pupils don't wearing information technology over the acme. In our school we have to keep it looking natural. That means no colours or glitter.
Marina, thirteen, Manchester
I retrieve that students should be allowed to wear make-up every bit long as its non to much!
Suzannah, 13, Wirral
I don't think we should exist wearing make-up to school. Information technology's but putting pressure level on everyone to wait corking. Nosotros become to school to learn, non to exercise brand-overs!
Zahra, 14, London
There is nothing wrong with wanting to await pretty by wearing make-upwards to give yous a boost of confidence. As long every bit you lot don't wear too much of it!

I think heavy make-up shouldn't be immune, but subtle make-up is fine.
Caroline, 13
Brand-up isn't affecting how much work we practise, is it? Information technology only makes people feel pretty and skillful about themselves, so why not? And its non similar a tube of mascara is going to walk in the class and cease the lesson!
Alice, 13, Camborne
I call back the ban is a good idea. It doesn't put pressure on kids to spend money on make-up or pressure them into looking similar everyone else. Also it would brand anybody equal like uniforms exercise. some kids might non be able to afford it and be worried about being teased!
